On my hunt to find and introduce a female pimp, I located this article. This article does not discuss a female pimp, but it does introduce an Atlanta gentleman, and discusses what his life will look like for the next 11 years.
Name of Pimp: Johnathon Kelly
Age: 31 years
Location: Atlanta
Charges: Taking and prostituting a 17 year old girl runaway across State lines.
Kelly will be serving 11 years in prison! "Kelly pleaded guilty June 30 to one count of transporting a minor for prostitution. In addition to prison time, he must serve 20 years of supervised release, register as a sex offender, and pay the victim $7,500 in restitution."

The Name of a Pimp: Richard Brooks.
Age: 38 years-old
Location: In a small town in Central California, a man pleaded guilty to human trafficking charges.
Charges: Alleged rape of a 17 year old girl, human trafficking, and pimping charges.
If Convicted: 15 years to life in prison.

This past week I spent time discussing statistics. This coming week, I will focus on the traffickers, rather than the trafficked. While I find myself disgusted by the actions of the traffickers, I have to remember that they have a story as well. Something led them down this path and hopefully one day, we will have a better understanding as to why Pimps become Pimps and Traffickers, traffic. Until then, I will continue to do my research and enlighten you all on who the pimps are, and what is happening to them.
